"Stranger 30" arrived at SHALANNO FARMS in Wellington in the end of 2015. He is a gelding (2006) by Stakkato x Cheenook. His father Stakkato is since 2001 the unbeaten stallion of the German listings. With over 25 approved sons in Hannover and more then 60 'state premium' daughters he is one of the most valuable stallions of Germany. Stakkato won many international prizes with Eva Bitter (GER) and they won the German Championships in 2003 and 2010. In the year 2007 he was rewarded "Stallion of the year" in Verden (GER). Fun fact is that "Stranger's" grandfather Cheenook was trained up to Grand Prix level dressage despite being mainly a show jumping oriented stallion.
"Stranger 30" was ridden by Maik Junghaenel (GER) before he was sold to SHALANNO FARMS. He rode him succesfully at the highest national German level (1.45). Andrew and "Stranger 30" are becoming a succesful combination during WEF 2016 season. They have earned several prizes already in the national and international classes. They jumped their first 1.50 class clear during WEF 6 2016.
